After reading the posted reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I checked in after a day of travel around 11pm. I was a little uncomfortable with the fact that it was actually a motel (I hadn't realized this initially and can take responsibility for the oversight.) Once I opened the door to my room, I was met with a foul odor that was unidentifiable, but certainly permanent, and quickly intolerable. Upon routine inspection, I found black "dust-like" particles on the visible sheets, and tears in the duvet that also appeared to be dirty and odorous.
I realized very quickly that this was not going to work and that I needed to find a place to stay that was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, I had booked this reservation through Expedia, so I called them first to see what I could do. I explained that the room was unacceptable and uninhabitable and that I needed to cancel and find other accommodations. Expedia phoned the front desk and told me that Best Western would be assessing a penalty since I checked in, and that there was nothing to be done.
They made me pay for a night here.. I was in the room for maybe 10 minutes, and touched nothing. I went back to the desk to drop off the key and let them know that the room was unacceptable. The girl behind the desk was nice, seemed to feel bad that I was unhappy, and offered to move my room. At this point, I had cancelled the remainder of the reservation, and made arrangements elsewhere, so I politely declined. Even if this was not the case, I would not have been interested in moving rooms- I just wanted a comfortable place to sleep.
I am unsure where the positive reviews citing cleanliness are coming from.The only positive experience was directly with the girl at the desk.
I will not be back, nor would I recommend this establishment. This was my first (and most likely, last) experience with the Best Western Brand. less

The wind in Western Oklahoma, while enjoyable at times, can also be our worst enemy when it comes to dust in our guest rooms. That is, however not an excuse for the low quality room your received.
In all the disappointment you experienced, I am delighted to hear that our front desk agent was respectful and courteous to you.
I hope you will consider allowing us another opportunity to make your stay enjoyable.
