When traveling by car, we start looking for lodging in the area we're likely to reach by around 7pm, then check the trip advisor reviews. Last night, the first hotel we checked had multiple complaints about the parking; the second had a reviewer who found a homeless man asleep in the elevator. This one had mostly good reviews, so we tried it; were not disappointed. We made reservations via the 800 number, and check in was friendly and seamless. We got a large smoke - free room on the third floor that was essentially sound proof. There were luggage carts that we could use to haul up our stuff in one go, and checkout wasn't until noon the next day (as opposed to 11 am). One disappointment was that, on Sunday nights, their on site restaurant was closed; we'd been looking forward to trying it. However, the very helpful check in clerk suggested 'Apricot Wood' less than a block away, and it was fantastic! (See my review).
The rooms surround a center courtyard area (the restaurant) which reminds me of a higher end hotel, rather than a Best Western right off the highway. Once inside the conveniently located hotel, it's completely quiet, too, just like a much more expensive property. If we ever pass this way again, we'll be sure to stop for the night! less

staying with us the next time you are in town! All the best.
