We come to cannery row every thanksgiving to visit the aquarium. We have stayed for years at the Victorian inn and I finally have had enough. It's very expensive, it's parking is very expensive and very awkward, the services are indifferent. The breakfast is mediocre and the dining area is very ill-suited to dining, few tables, lots of places you have to sit with your food on your lap, it's always cold in there because they leave the back door open. Getting into your rooms can be a big challenge finding the right stairs and bridges and tunnels.The rooms are so so.with nothing views.The elevator is excruciatingly slow. You have to play with an old slow computer to buy your aquarium tickets.
So this time we decided to try a new place we are at the Monterey Bay Inn, easier access, lovely rooms, they use their computer to buy your aquarium tickets, and it cost less money for more room and they bring your breakfast to you so you don't have to run around and try to look decent to go get a hard-boiled egg.while struggling to ignore the family trauma all around you. please understand this is not a one-shot deal, out of habit we probably stayed there 6 or 7 times. Even getting from the underground parking lot to the lobby can be a challenge. So look into the Monterey Bay Inn instead less

We always hope to provide our guests with the accommodations to make their Monterey travels truly wonderful and each of our hotels offer a variety of amenities dependent on our guests needs to do just that. We are pleased to share that the breakfast parlor at the Victorian Inn was recently renovated to create additional breakfast seating along with new computers in the business center to purchase aquarium tickets or print boarding passes. Additionally, at the beginning of the year all guest room corridors and landscaping was upgraded. We truly hope that we might have the opportunity to welcome you back to Monterey soon and our Inns of Monterey hotels.
