We were looking forward to our stay at this hotel but were sadly so very disappointed. The room was in need of an urgent makeover with rips to the curtains and stains on the chairs. The bed linen was cheap, thin and didn’t feel very clean (and didn’t smell newly washed!) and the mattress sunk in the middle - this indicated that it was clearly a very well worn mattress and needed replacing.
Breakfast is basic with dried bread and cakes and omelettes are of the frozen variety (as indicated by the packaging left nearby!), subsequently reheated in an oven.
Our room was extremely noisy (despite us asking for a quiet room) with loud footsteps from above, people shouting loudly, suitcases being dragged along outside our room and the traffic noise from the road outside.
The staff are very unfriendly and curt and you don’t feel like a welcome guest at any point.
At $300 per night, it is outrageously expensive for the standard of accommodation on offer.
