For people visiting the theme parks, this hotel is ideal. It has free shuttle buses to Disney and Universal (limited runs per day, put your name down in advance), as well as a stand offering discount tickets to the parks within the hotel lobby.
Location of this hotel also offers a number of shops and restaurants/bars within walking distance, which was great.
Carpark for the hotel is shared with these restaurants and bars, as well as other hotels, so it can get quite busy but we never had an issue finding space.
The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, and even the sofa bed gave us a good night sleep. Air con unit was too noisy to sleep with it on, so the room got quite warm at night.
Pool area was kept clean and the pool itself was lovely! Limited seating around the pool, but to be honest most of the time we were the only ones there. Very quiet!
Hotel also offered free computers and printers to use which was good for printing off park tickets for Universal and Kennedy Space Centre. Note: the computers don't seem to wipe anyone's data after use, so be sure to delete it yourself especially if you've been putting in personal information. I could easily see previous users email addresses, search histories, names, personal info etc. Use these computers at your own risk.
Breakfast let it down a little bit... limited choice per day, but the menu rotated daily which was nice and gave a little bit more variety. Seating for breakfast was tight, especially before the theme park buses ran each morning. Also, SOOOO much single use plastic here. Plastic plates and cutlery and cups, no alternatives offered. I sincerely hope it gets recycled.
