Stayed one night in early December w/o any pre-planning, and found this property to be a good value and very centrally located to my needs. All was well, staff were helpful and accommodating and upbeat. My only critique would be that signage for the room blocks/locations needs to be a bit improved. I had a map in hand, and directions from the staff, and still wound up touring most of the property, including the meeting room foyer, before I was able to interpret the map in relation to the rather Frank Lloyd Wright-like architecture of the place. The TripAdvisor cover photo is a bit misleading in it's "classic Colonial" appearance...the rest of the place is a post-modern trainwreck of small building components, narrow short stairs to multiple levels, and a generally split (and split, and split) level design. etc. Understand this is an observation, not a complaint...and just simply to illustrate that dealing w/ it unfamiliar with the layout cold turkey, at midnight, carrying a bunch of stuff, takes a bit of orienteering aplomb. And this from a guy who works in civil engineering. So again, a bit more obvious signage out- and inside, it'd be a non-issue. The room I had was VERY spacious, clean, warm, and had great windows for morning light. I'll be back in the area in a few months, and have every intention of staying here again.
Also, there's great high-end-local-dive-bar right across the road which has GREAT $5 burgers/fries and other specials (I hit burger night), which is a big plus (see other review for Logan's Run). Not a "family restaurant", but a great place for a late meal and a few drinks. less
