When I checked in there were two decorative throw pillows on the bed. Useless, so I put them on a shelf. When I checked out I forgot to put them back on the bed. A day later a $100 charge hit my credit card. I called the hotel and they said that two pillows were missing and they charged me for them. I explained what happened, they said they would check into it and call me back (they didn’t). When I called again they said they couldn’t find the pillows and were letting the charge stand. I don’t know what happened to those pillows after I left, but they didn’t go with me.
I would never stay here again or, possibly, at any Best Western. If you go, be sure not to rearrange anything.
Other than that issue—basic, inexpensive, no-frills. Room was clean but hallways smelled like old cigarette smoke. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was a nice size. Breakfast was adequate. Desk staff was very nice. So-so location, close to ASU and airport but almost no restaurants in walking distance. less

On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to apologize for not being able to exceed your expectations during your stay. If you were looking for nearby restaurants, I wish you could have asked the desk staff, because there are quite a few options available to our guests! The Arizona Mills Mall is (as our name suggests) very close to the hotel, at just a ten minute walk, and there are a number of sit-down or takeout restaurants to choose from, both there and along the way to it.
I am very sorry that the pillows were not in the room, and if you do find them, please let us know, and we will be more than happy to reverse the charge to your card with their return.
