Came in after 11pm and think we caught the shift change. We worked mostly with Kim but there was also an Amy there. They were both soooo friendly! Ms. Kim was amazing! We had a big family with children ranging from 15 years down to 1 year old twins. There were only 5 pillows in the room (including the spare in the closet) but we had a party of 6. I called down and Ms. Kim was so apologetic. I could hear the phone ringing in the background and I know they were extremely busy... maybe even sold out, the night we stayed. I thought it would take her some time to gather a pillow from houskeeping's inventory. However, by the time I came down to the front desk she went above and beyond and generously gave me 2 pillows instead of just the 1 I asked for.
We all slept very well. The beds were soft, the pullout was as good as expected, the room was clean and the air conditioning was amazing (I love how cold the room was when we arrived. My daughter... not so much but she was fine after throwing on a hoodie. Ha!)
Also... on a seemingly sold out night, you didn't hear a peep from the other rooms. Very good soundproofing at this place!
In the morning, the housekeeping staff was very friendly in the hallways. Also Ms. Lynn at the front desk was fun to talk with. She gave us some good travel information and after talking about and then seeing the brood of children we had, she gave me a friendly nod and politely said, "You're a good dad." It was a nice thing for me to hear as we were all loading into the van for the next leg on our family roadtrip.
Overall a great stay. Nothing fancy but we weren't looking for fancy. We were looking for: ease of getting to off the highway, a room that could hold all of us instead of having to split up in 2 rooms, a hotel that was following extra COVID-19 safety/sanitizing protocol, clean rooms, nice beds and friendly staff. This hotel checked all the boxes. We would stay here again should our travels take us nearby. less
