My wife and I stayed here while on a trip to the Smoky Mountains during the week after Christmas leading into New Year's Day. The hotel is conveniently located in east Knoxville within easy driving distance to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountains National Park. Our room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable, fluffy pillows, and very clean. Breakfast was very good with eggs, meats, cold cereals, waffles, and a variety of other items. Elizabeth, the lady who cooked and kept the breakfast bar stocked, was WONDERFUL! Very sweet lady with great people skills; she could teach a course on friendliness and good customer relations! I would say that the room was drab and could have used some brighter neutral colors and wall furnishings to give it more of an "at home" Country look more "in tune" with this wonderful vacation area. Also, it was a handicapped accessible room with good attention to detail for those with disabilities, but could have used a few more clothes hooks and other accessories for those without disabilities. All in all, it was a very nice stay, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling through this area of Tennessee!
