My family and I checked into this hotel on Tuesday, September 8th, after being fed up with their service for days, I emailed the general manager, which you will find below... I specified all the details on this review since it looks like this is the only way of getting a response from them.
I am contacting you because I am in room 200 at you hotel at 11:11am on September 12th awaiting for my family to start our day; however, we cannot because we have not had fresh towels in two days. I went downstairs this morning at roughly 8:30am to get toilet paper and towels which also has not been refilled in two days as well for a family of four is absolutely absurd. The rude desk clerk stated she would have some sent up, showed me a schedule of cleaning service that was suppose to be on the floor working, and stated they would get to our room when they could...2 hours later no toilet tissue except for the used roll she handed me and still no towels. Let the clerk tell it, the towels were being washed. This was also told to us on Tuesday when we tried to go swimming and she told us to use the towels in our room. The only reason for giving this hotel a try was because we had access to a kitchen that had a burner for us to cook on, little to our surprise for two days as well only one burner worked. When this was addressed to your staff, her reply was, well one is working right? Had it been me and not my fiance she told, my remarks would have been, 'am I paying for use of one or both?' Well that problem was fixed on Friday sometime while my family was away at a friend's home cooking for my family. Your staff incompetency and lack of care for guest that are paying their hard earned money after being displaced by Hurricane Laura is by far the worst experience my family has ever had. This is our forth hotel stay since COVID19 started and third since being displaced from our home and we have never been treated like this. I am well aware of the protocols in place for COVID prevention, but this is not it, this is lack of hospitality in general. I would not recommend your hotel to a single soul I know and will leave a review hopefully warning others not to waste their time or money. I would like to be contacted back at your earliest convenience and will go higher if need be. less
