We rented a two room king suite to celebrate our daughter's birthday, and were very pleased. Lynne at check-in was very nice and accommodating. Free coffee, cookies, and water in the lobby. Even when I went to get some decaf, she made sure to make a fresh pot for me.
Pool area is nice, but pool isn't very big. We had the pool area to ourselves when my daughter had some friends over, so it was a non-issue that day. The next morning, both the hottub and pool were pretty packed.
After her friends left, we had some relatives come by to celebrate, and there was room for everyone, even at one time when we had 12 adults and 6 kids in there at one time.
The suite we had included a separate bedroom that was huge and the king bed was extremely comfortable. The main area had a table with 4 chairs, a coffee table in front of the couch, another small table up against the wall, and a counter in the kitchen area, so we had plenty of room for crock pots, food, and for people to eat. Big closet right when you enter the room was nice for keeping shoes, jackets, extra drinks out of the way.
Our room was very clean, and another group rented a standard room, which was clean and spacious, as well.
Hot breakfast was good, consisting of things like eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, etc.
Fitness room had a bike, elliptical, and a weight station that allowed me to do every exercise I needed to do.
Only downside to the whole stay was the fire alarm going off in the hotel the morning we were leaving. As it turns out, it went off because our room had a water leak around the toilet that leaked down to the media center and got some sensors wet. People had to come into our room to try to find the leak, but it didn't inconvenience us too much. I had people tell us we should ask to get our room for free, or try to get money off, but I saw no reason to. Things happen that are out of their control, and I believe they handled it well.
Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely stay again in the future. less
