Receptionist, who was on the computer, just ignored us when we approached. When we asked about check-in, he just coldly told us that check-in isn't till 2PM (not looking up from his computer at all) No hi, hello or any eye contact.
The shuttle driver kinda looked guilty at the side but didnt say anything either, but I asked him if we could leave our luggage somewhere so we could grab a bite nearby and he helped us bring our luggage to a room at the back. He also told us a few restaurants and grocery nearby.
Breakfast was ok and the service was fine.
PS we were a part of a tour. So for the whole price, it is pretty good. The bedroom and bathroom was bigger than we expected.
It is out of the way though. Took us nearly two hours to get to downtown.

Thank you for submitting a review on your stay at the Best Western Plus South Bay Hotel. I'm saddened to hear about your check-in experience. I do apologize for our receptionist's demeanor. We should have been more friendly and cordial to all our guests. Our rooms are indeed longer and wider than some others and there are restaurants and shops within walking distance. I believe we are centrally located and close to Disneyland, Universal Studios and to downtown Los Angeles too. The average driving time to these places are about half-an-hour to an hour.
We do hope that we can be of service to you again in the near future.
