Arrived late at night, checked in an was given rom 202. 2 adults 1 child (11y.o) in double room with xtra bed. As we arrived totaly exhausted, we just fired up the AC and went to bed. Only thing we noticed upon arrival was a used dirty glass under the xtra bed.
The morning after, we noticed the AC not working. As the windows were impossible to open, we woke up to a damp, hot room with poor air quality. The front desk was noticed about the AC that same morning, but just some "mumbeling" answere... We were in a hurry for catching a train to Manchester, so we did not address this further.
As we returned that evening, we imeadiately could see that the AC was still not working. .Contacted the front desk and explained our problem. I asked for another room, so we could breathe while sleeping.The following acting in trying to HELP us with our problem, was just hillarious...
Though tyring to explain my effort in trying to open the windows (and I'm a strong m.f. (male force!)) - was not enough - and staff used lots of time and effort trying to open windows - wich were stuck due to paint and such... Back an forth - looking at computer for half an hour - without explaining options - at last we were provided two other rooms for the night. The next day the AC finally was fixed.
-Location! Excellent location in lovely Hammersmith! Close to the tube, stores etc.
-Though it seemed that they lacked of experience - the staff was very friendly! :)
-As mentioned in an earlier post; the smell of KFC-fat in the entrance! Yak!
-Draining problem in the shower. Told the front desk - but nothing noticable didt happend...
- Mirror-light bathroom poor
- Our time was consumed by staff - trying to "fix" easily fixable problems...
And last - but not least; Breakfast!
Cheese packed i plastic, sugar packed in plastic covered paper, Nescafe the same. Cereals in smal individual packages of paper/cardboard and plastic. This goes on...
A LOT of trash - just by consuming breakfast!
Then - you DARE put up a notice in the bathroom;
"Please, help us SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT by NOT changing towel every day!"
I rest my case...
Concidering demanding a refund for some of our expences of our four night stay, as this hotel experience was partly devastating for out trip to lovely London. less

On behalf of the entire team please accept my sincere apologies as we do sincerely strive to make each guest stay as satisfying as possible. I can see that perhaps we failed here.
I was aware of the problem with the AC and we were at the mercy of the engineer turning up to site which was not predictable.
Once again thank you for bringing this to my attention even if it via social media and do accept my apologises.
