Marathon weekend break

23/04/2018 Col B, Edinburgh, United Kingdom

Short walk from Tube stn with comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked for alternative room with extra space as party was 3 adults. Room 133 on reception level had aircon, skyligh... more

Really disappointing but close to Apollo.

23/04/2018 Lydia-Aimee J,

We had booked a competitor hotel for an evening at the Apollo and changed it last minute due to the location, albeit a little more expensive, and we wish we hadn't. The bedrooms are the smallest I've... more

Stayed For The Weekend

26/03/2018 Emma B, Wrexham County, United Kingdom

Stayed here for the weekend Fri-Sun a family of 3, so we had a triple room. Room was very small, and we struggled to move around as there was hardly any available floorspace. The bathroom door was res... more

Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry if you felt the room was too small for 3 people. Unfortunately there is not a lot that can be done in terms of the room size but going forward we are planning to just have double rooms and thereby avoiding the situation of the room size. Some of our rooms do not have a window and hence why we have put in a sky light thereby bringing in fresh air as well as natural light into the bedrooms. I sincerely hope this will not put you off from visiting us again as I believe we have one of the best locations in terms of value for money. Regards, ronnie

Travelling for business...avoid!

Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback and I am extremely disappointed with the points that you raised. All the rooms are double glazed and if you do have a room facing the street then it can be noisy at times but very rarely at night. Breakfast is actually complimentary with the addition of boiled eggs. There are security cameras all over the hotel and is being monitored 24 hours from reception.. This is why the lift stops at the first floor by reception after 10pm. I don't know of a single hotel that has security locks in corridors. In any case I am sorry if you felt that the hotel was not fit for purpose but hopefully the above points will just clarify the truth. Regards Ronnie Cherian
