It would be helpful, though, if you could see anything while in the room. I understand that part of managing a hotel involves managing the electricity used but there are limits. The recessed light over the entry way to the room had two fluorescent bulbs but only one of them worked. There were two lights in the room both of which had dim bulbs, presumably very low wattage which made finding items in the suitcase difficult. The bathroom switch had a motion detector which, if you were taking a shower, kept turning the light off repeatedly if there was no motion in the room.
The HVAC system seemed also to have some sort of motion detector because, by morning, it was chill in our room and the heat did not seem to come on until we were up and moving about.
In short it gave the appearance that the management had decided to save energy at the cost of some creature comfort.
(NOTE: Normally I do not write critical reviews without first speaking with someone in management. In this case I called them on multiple occasions with a pretty neutral "I would like to speak to the manager if I could." message. The manager was only "in" once and then could not come to the phone because he was "walking the property." Requests that he call back left on his answering machine were not returned.) less
