We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past with good experiences, but this particular trip was very poor.
Front desk staff gave the keys to our room to another guest and placed us in a smaller room (single bed instead of two) than we paid for. We were still charged for the larger room, and our reservation was not updated in the system which caused confusion at check out.
Front desk staff did not wear masks or follow posted COVID protocols, and told other guests that they did not need to. As we were in town for a COVID related funeral, this was particularly irritating.
The room we were given keys to had very poor sound insulation, so that we could hear the front desk person's conversations from our room. less
