an okay airport hotel that unfortunately looks understaffed

I found this an okay average hotel. Clean room, good towels, and nice staff people. Having said that, there are certain things they can improve so that they can become a really convenient hotel for us travelers.
First, I have a feeling that they are really understaffed. I asked for a shuttle from the Newark Airport, but ended up waiting for more than 30 minutes. It was not cool to see other hotels' guests disappearing into their respective shuttles one by one. Five or six of us were left in the cold. I called up the hotel staff, who initially told me that the shuttle would be there in 15-20 minutes, now said that it went to the mall nearby to pick up people first. He apologized.
I then later realized that the shuttle driver also had to help with the check-in process. He asked me whether I'd like a wake-up call and at what time at the front desk. Things like this---one shuttle car for all guests, and a worker having to multi-task--show that they need to hire more people.
Let me just list other things just so the hotel might work on them hopefully. 1. The elevator situation needs to be explained in advance. I was staying on the 6th floor but only one of the two elevators goes there. These elevators seem terribly old, and one broke down when I stayed. 2. Wifi speed was okay, but the use was limited to 3 hours. 3. I did not receive the wake-up call which I was expecting at 5:45 in the morning.
Again, I found staff here very nice and cordial despite the fact that I saw only a few of them, and I get the feeling that they often have to multitask. Good and clean hotel overall, but needs some work to improve for sure. less
