This hotel is a very comfortable place to stay and is conveniently located just a few blocks from the central train station. The staff is helpful, speak some English and there are always pretzels for the taking in the lobby, as well as flavored beverages. Though the room was comfortable, there were two things that I didn't like. There were only two electrical outlets in the room, which makes it almost impossible to plug in multiple mobile devices. Thankfully, we always travel with a 220-volt power strip. Also our room had a bathtub that required stepping very high to get in and out of the shower, and I didn't find this to be very safe. The hotel tells me that some renovations will be done and more outlets will be added in the next year or so, and it is also possible to request a room with shower only. Just be aware of these factors if you reserve there. The location is a mixed bag. It's a good 20 minute walk to the center of town, but on the other hand we were not bothered by the cathedral bells, which are among the loudest I've ever heard. The location near the train station may be an advantage depending on the nature of your trip. The breakfast was good, offering both hot and cold choices, including eggs. less

Thank you for your stay and review and first of all, let me wish you a happy new year, to you and your family.
You are right, we still had a couple of rooms with only 2 electrical outlets, which has been improved since.
Regarding the bathroom, some rooms offer a large shower, some others offer a bath-tub. We can only recommend to inform us about the preferences upon reservation. The location near the train station, but off the place makes it quiet but central.
I stay personally at your entire disposal for any help I could provide and remain with best regards,
