The room was well-appointed, I especially loved the side chairs with ottoman. Because of a disability it is very difficult for me to watch television in bed and I really appreciated having the chair and a place to put my feet up. The bathtub is huge, perfect for a hot soak after a long drive. My one complaint is the carpets, it is long past time for them to be replaced. They are filthy and they stink! They have tried to cover up the smell with air freshener and all that does is make it a sweet smelling stink which is even worse than what it probably smells like in the first place. The hotel configuration is super inconvenient. My room was clear around the back of the hotel. In order to go to the restaurant I either had to walk down a 1km hallway or get back in my car, drive around the building and go to the restaurant. For people with mobility issues this is not ideal. The restaurant staff are friendly and the food was good but the service was very slow. To be fair it was the waiters second shift so I definitely cut him some slack on that. less

Thank you for your feedback, and we are very pleased that you enjoyed our facilities. You suggested some areas in which we could improve upon which is most valuable to us in order to continuously improve. With regards to the carpet, the ENTIRE hotel was just reaccepted this past January. All the carpet in the guest rooms, guest corridors, staircases and our lounge. So it is defiantly not filthy, worn or in need of replacement. If you have any undesirable odour in your room please advise us during your stay and we can certainly do our best to source the issue. We hope you enjoyed our investment in new mattresses, new bedding, new curtains, new alarm clocks with USB chargers, upgraded towels, new Shaw satellite service, and fibre internet.
On your next stay, please inform us of your mobility issues in advance and we will gladly reserve a room for you that is closer to the lobby. Unfortunately, having the convenience of being able to park right outside your room comes with the consequence of a long corridor, so I guess it's a double edge sword. We can't change the hotel for you, but we would gladly allocate you to a room that would better suit your needs.
