I have stayed at this motel on several occasions before, and really enjoy the courtesy and friendliness of the front desk employees, my problem liesin the dishonesty of the cleaning staff. I was in Midland on business for 3 days and stayed at the motel like I have on many occasions in the past. On this particular trip, I had used my phone adapter to watch a movie on the tv. When it was over, I left the adapter plugged into the tv because I was planning on using it the next evening when I finished up the days business. When I got back to my room, I noticed that the adapter was no longer plugged into the tv, (it was a very snug fit, so I know it didn't get knocked out accidentally) so I contacted the front desk to let them know what had happened. They contacted the cleaning person, and she denied it being in there. From there the front desk told me they would notify the manager in the morning. Upon speaking with the manager the next day, she said that they had spoken with the employee, and they had denied seeing it again, yet one of the other clerks said she new the cleaning person and she wouldn't be surprised if it suddenly showed up later that afternoon. The manager offered to take $50 off my bill (the cost of the adapter), which wasn't going to do me any good because my company was paying for the room, not me. This was 2 weeks ago and I haven't had any response from the motel on what kind of recouse was going to be done to settle this matter. You would think that paying nearly $200 a night for a room, you would get a little more concern and security in a situation like this, but it doesn't look like this is the case. I would advise anyone that decides to stay here, make sure you secure your personal belongings, or they may very well grow legs and walk off like mine did. less

We were aware of the incident and I can personally tell you that incidents like this is not what characterizes us. We are absolutely against any kind of dishonest conduct from any of our employees and we take situations like this very serious. We have spoke with all of our employees, not just the housekeeper in charged of cleaning your room that day and no one had seen your charger... As I already said, we take situations like this very serious and we can guarantee you it would not happen again.
I hope you consider staying with us again in the future so we can have a chance to provide you with a superior experience.
