We had a nice stay at BW Plus while we were in Mesa to visit a new grandchild. The hotel is clean and looks well maintained, with staff on the grounds taking care of things brought to their attention. We asked for an early check in and a quiet room off of the ground floor. The clerk called us as soon as our room was cleaned and available! We were pleasantly surprised at the quietness of our 3rd floor room facing the parking lot, even though it is right next to Interstate 60! Our queen bed looked small like a double to me, but it was indeed a queen bed, and very comfortable! Plenty of pillows, too!
The room was nice and clean. Our tub was obviously older, with a little bit of paint peeling off of it. Also, water backed up in the tub as we showered instead of draining away. We let the clerk know as we checked out, and she paiged one of their maintenance crew right away to address the issue.
We enjoyed breakfast there each morning of our stay. It was a good variety of hot and cold items each day. There is also a nice sitting area to talk with family and friends who came by to say hello while we were visiting!
We enjoyed the use of the exercise room and pool/hot tub during our stay as well. They have nice Precor equipment to use, although the stationary bike had a pedal glitch that needed repairing. However, there was a second stationary bike that could be used instead (not Precor, though). The pool was clean, but a little on the cool side. The hot tub was also clean. There are chairs and some tables around the pool area, and towels poolside. There is a wall that separates the hotel grounds from the Interstate 60, and it provides a good amount of privacy and really squelches the road noise!
The desk clerk told us of an Indian restaurant when I inquired. It is walking distance away, and their lunch buffet was very good! It is called India Oven, and we would recommend it! Actually, if Indian food is not for you, this hotel is very convenient to many restaurants and shops.
We look forward to visiting our grandchild again soon, and will stay here again! Thank you, BW Plus, for such a relaxing stay!
