This hotel allowed our group booking knowing very well that we were an atom hockey team, we booked 14 rooms, 4 rooms for 2 nights but the majority for 1. From the moment we arrived there were issues. When we had been there for 45 minutes (we arrived at about 5:45 pm) front desk mentioned a noise complaint. Said the room below had complained of our noise level for over an hour. We had not been there for that long. Kids chilled in the room for about 30 min then played mini sticks for about 10. We were in the room with them the entire time. Also this was well before "quiet time". When we took the kids to the unsupervised pool. all 4 of the kids, the front desk was immediately there telling us what they could and couldn't do. Stood in the pool aread and watched our kids for 20 minuets, when we went over to ask why, she turned and left. Again at 10 pm when our kids were in bed we got another call about how we were being to noisy. No one bothered to come to the room to see if there was any actual noise. Our kids were yelled at the following morning for touching the salt and pepper. Witnessed a child with another group yelled at for entering the room in her swimsuit. It would appear that this hotel is not kid friendly despite being attached to the sports complex, and would rather cater to oilfield crews. less

Dear radrobinson, Thank you for taking the time to let us know your feedback. All comments, good or bad, help us deliver the best experience we can. Noise that disrupts other guest comfort is attended to, regardless of the time of day. We are sorry that our two phone calls requesting measures to reduce the noise, that you may not have been aware of, were an issue. It is required that a certified First Aid supervisor is present in the pool area if the water slide is turned on, which it was, to ensure safety rules are followed. In regards to the salt and pepper, our breakfast bar manager reports that the children that were seated away from the adults were playing "crash cars" with the shakers and were told they could not do that. The children that came to the breakfast bar in swimsuits were advised that they needed footwear to come into that area.We think our hotel is very "kid friendly" - we host many, many teams, as well as our valued oil and gas workers. We appreciate your feedback and wish you well on your future travels!
