We made reservations ahead for 2 handicap rooms and at 6pm I called because we were running behind to arrive, reached Brent at front desk. This person was extremely rude and told me "I will try not to give your rooms away!" Upon arrival we were given only 1 handicap room, which I will accept as the others were given away, but again BRENT was so rude. I asked a basic question and was scolded like I was a child by Brent and so this was the last straw. I knew I would report him to management. The next am I went to talk with manager and BRENT again was at the desk, rude and said manager was out. Later there was another lady and I asked his name and manager name. After 4 bad encounters with BRENT I wanted nothing more to do with him. She was polite and other than the dealings with BRENT at the front desk, the rest was otherwise smooth. I did not like being told via phone that there would be no PET fee upon arrival and then later found my bill to reflect a $20 pet fee. If I had known this I would have paid the $20 fee at a location closer to where we were going and would not have had to deal with BRENT.
Beware there is only 2 carts to haul luggage on and they were down at the 3rd entrance down - nothing close to the front desk and the elevator is slow...
So, being handicapped with breathing issues, I took the room with no handicap facilities but had to walk an entire corridor to get to the room, then on second day my keys were deactivated from 1st day arrival so had to walk all the way back down the stairs to get rekeyed and the door jammed.
So if you book handicap, be sure you get handicap, if you encounter BRENT, ask to speak to someone who does not think they own the place and really will welcome you.
The bedding was fine, room was fairly clean nothing special. Place is ok and be prepared to walk, walk, walk!!
Breakfast was decent.- nothing special. less
