This is a Best Western chain of hotels. The hotel is located within the downtown area of Cardiff. The hotel lobby is small but clean and (the couches) can accommodate at least 12-15 people; and has 2 compact elevators, each can accommodate at least 4 people.
The room I got is spacious, since it's on the third floor, the view of the city is great. One of the travelers in the tour complained about her room being near the railway, the noise of the train it kept her awake. The bathroom is okay but needs more lighting, the tub is small and very slippery. Although there was a sign to use the bath mat, there were no bath mat available, you still need to ask from the hotel reception. So be careful when taking a bath, my nephew slipped and hurt himself. The sink is tiny. The room is quiet and the bed is comfortable.
Breakfast is buffet continental style. The varieties of food are identical with all other England hotels. Eggs, hash brown, sausages, black puddings, assorted breads, juices, coffee and tea. There is not much fruits available, all they had is grapefruit, mashed mixed berries, and prunes.
Overall, this hotel is average on my standards, the only good thing about it is the bed and good night sleep, other things needs improvements. less
