My husband and I stayed at this hotel on the 11/12/2018 room 22, at first glance it looked very nice and our evening meal was lovely. However when we got up the next morning and I was tiding the bed I noticed a filthy mark on the top of the duvet covet, it looked very much like human waste, I then decided to check the bed sheet and noticed what looked like dried urine stains. We had not noticed these the night before because the bed runner was across where the stain was and we just got into bed and turned off the lights. After discovering this we decided to go and have breakfast, then go and complain about the room, well I wished we had not bothered, it was 8.30 am and the dining room was empty, just messy empty tables, we found a table and chairs and sat down for breakfast, all that was left was cold dried up bacon and fried cold eggs, and a few bits and pieces and despite my calling several times no one came out to see to us, so we had to make do, eventually someone came out and asked if we would like hot toast and tea or coffee, I just had cereals because they were the only edible things in there. As we were leaving the restaurant the receptionist came in and asked if everything was OK, we told him no and took him to see the state of the duvet and sheet. He thought that maybe someone else had used the room prior to us and it had not been cleaned out properly. I asked to speak to the manager, but apparently he was not due in until 1 pm. The receptionist asked us to email our complaint to the manager for him to deal with it. Since coming home I have emailed them three times with photos complaining about the state of bed linen and breakfast, but to date I have not heard a thing off them. I have even emailed the head office of Best Western Hotel Group, again with photos, but they have not bothered to reply either. I can only assume that they are not concerned about the reputation or welfare of their clients and hotels. My advice is steer clear of this hotel and the group and find one that actually cares about it clients.
