Just returned from quick trip to ZOO and Destiny Mall with fam. Last fun weekend of summer. Picked this hotel for location, swimming pool, breakfast and the ratings and price were good. First off-the room was not cleaned with attention to detail which was odd considering COVID. Most hotels I have visited recently seem to really go above and beyond on this matter. First I noticed thick layer of dust on dressor top, then haphazardly made bed with stained covers. Then the bathroom had hair on the floor and in the tub. Not to mention 1 towel was all we had? 1? Went to desk and all they had were pool towels. And when I went to look for info on channel guide in the hotel room binder- I could NOT believe the disgusting state that it was in! And it was sitting on the table! Covered in good knows what, sticky and wet. I was so grossed out I dropped immediately. Next the pool- main reason kids were excited. That was until the cloudy ,murky water burned there skin and eyes in seconds. Chlorine is important yes, maybe add a small bit xtra for safety but that much? To the point your eyes burn even sitting in the pool area? Nope. After 5 minutes, back to room where we listened to a large family with many kids- run up and down the hall, cry and yell until 1:30am. That was AFTER we has to evacuate at 10:30pm when a guest room smoke detector set the alarm off. Long story short- if price and reviews seem to good to be true, they are. Pay more $, maybe drive a few more miles and hopefully you will have a better stay. less
