Run away from another hotel to this one

A bit out of town but very comfy. Quiet rooms in residential area. I got to the hotel early morning, way before check in time, but was given a room right away. Room was clean and warm, large comfortab... more

Free parking so close to Oxford centre

Visiting family

Many thanks Michael for taking the time to post your review and I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and that we were perfect for your visit. With regards to the Car Park Charges we are fortunate to be able to have this facility and, unlike all of the other hotels in central Oxford who charge between £35 - £70 per night on top of their room rate, we do not charge for overnight car parking which is very much appreciated by the vast majority of our guests. The hourly charge is only made prior to the 15:00hrs check in time, on the day of arrival, and after 11:00hrs check out time, on the departure day. This is highlighted on all the booking websites prior to booking, as well as your confirmation, and at the hotel entrances and car parks. As you point out parking is very limited both at the hotel, and within central Oxford itself, and the hourly charge prior to check in and after check out times, was introduced several years ago following much feedback from many of our guests who were arriving to find that the car park was already full from previous day guests leaving their cars all day.
