We stayed 2 nights, first night smoke detector was talking at 2 a.m. saying low battery. We took the batteries out thinking it would stop and it did not. Finally, we called the front desk. She was really nice, can't remember her name, sorry. She came up changed the batteries and it took us a little while to fall back to sleep. Upon check out, I asked for 50% off the first night, Cesar said no, gave us 10% off each night. Just a little disappointed on the discount. If I would of had a meeting in the morning I would of been extremely irritated but we were on vacation. Breakfast was good, room was clean. Just a thought, maybe have almond milk as an option for breakfast. less

Thank you for your time in placing your comments and review in Tripadvisor. I believe that my front desk clerk did a very nice job in taking care of a problem that came up at 2 in the morning. I do feel bad that these guests had to be awoken by our smoke detector, but I don't agree with a 50% discount for one night. Ten percent off for each night was more than fair. This guest has gone everywhere to say how much of a problem was that she was awoken by this smoke detector. Sometimes no matter how much we do our best to resolve a problem, some guests still want more. If my clerk had not taken care of the situation in a timely matter, I would have felt we did not do a good job of taking care of these guests. Problem was resolved quickly and did not merit such a huge discount as the guest was hoping. Thank you!
