This 1970s building is in a quiet area just outside the historic centre. It is convenient for the police station and hospital in case of mishap!
The room sizes seem to vary greatly. We had a standard twin room; this was of just adequate size ,with only one desk chair and no easy chairs. This lack was made up for by the excellent stowage in bedside cabinets, good wardrobe ,and a cabinet under the desk. There were even two coathooks. The beds were comfortable, with a choice of normal rectangular pillows or the giant square variety.Ther were no top sheets, but the duvets were at least as thin as possible, therefore easy to stow out of the way.Our stay was in very hot weather, but the airconditioning was adequate. The rather insipid colour scheme was not helped by the basic lighting- but this is a business hotel, and not arty.
The small bathroom had a very welcome( hard to find in Southern Europe) bath. For some reason, the taps were at the head end. There were excellent towel rails ,and a basin which would hold water.
There were low priced drinks in the fridge, which was not only in working order but actually had a bit of ventilation behind it! There was a kettle, though not tea in the normal sense, just fruit infusion.
It is worth remarking on the rather complicated route necessary to get luggage to the upper floors- one lift goes but a half-storey to a corridor ,where the correct direction must be taken ,as the two stairs/ lifts rise into separate buldings.Practice makes perfect.... less
