Annual family ski trip, first stay at this hotel. We had rooms in their newer building, so don't know how these compare to older rooms. This is the nicest BW property at which I've ever stayed. I was impressed.
1) Friendly and attentive check-in/out staff
2) Humongous and comfortable rooms 😊, especially for "value" pricing; I'd estimate our king-bed rooms were close to 600 sq ft
3) Convenient location; adjacent to I-15 and 5-7min drive to historic downtown Ogden; 30-40min drive to Snowbasin, PowMow or Nordic Valley
4) Still offering full continental breakfast (including hot items), served by staff, during C19 pandemic
Only one issue we had during our stay was inconsistent hot water in the bathrooms. One day it would be fine and next day, there would be no hot water after 2-3 minutes in the shower. Maybe they're still working out bugs in their new building. I don't think it was due to guest capacity as there were only a handful of vehicles parked at this new building, which probably has at least 40 rooms.
Would stay here again without hesitation. Prior years, we have stayed at Comfort Suites and Marriott Courtyard in Ogden, but this Best Western High Country will be our new go-to property. less

We were thrilled to read that we are your new go to when in Ogden! We take pride in our property and love when we hear from people that love it too. Thank you for the feedback on the water. We will pass that on to maintenance as that is a bug we would definitely want repaired. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. Thank you so much for staying with us - we can't wait to see you next time!
