My husband and I stayed here 10/13/18 to attend the System of a Down concert at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernadino, and we were pleasantly surprised at how clean the hotel was considering the low price. We generally stay at Hilton properties, but this hotel has better reviews than the Hiltons near the venue.
Very conveniently located near a plethora of stores and restaurants, there is a Mimi’s Cafe just steps from the hotel and a Target less than five minutes from the hotel.
The hotel is very, very clean.
The staff was friendly upon check in and check out.
The price was nice considering the major concert happening only 10 miles away.
Free breakfast (pre-made omelettes, scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon, pastries, and cereal).
Fairly large rooms with lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in the bathroom.
In a very nice area of town. I felt safe and felt my car was secure in the lot overnight.
Kind of far from the 210 freeway (about five miles)
The lighting throughout the hotel is that awful blue/white LED light, it’s even in the hotel room and bathroom. Yuck.
The vending options are sparse and there is nothing open late-night in the area. We returned from the concert about 12:30 a.m. and we were starving, but nothing near the hotel was open at that hour.
Both the lobby and breakfast area were out of coffee when we went down to grab some at 9:45 a.m.
I would highly recommend this hotel if you are attending an event at the GH Amphitheater, we took a Lyft both ways and it only cost a total of $55 round trip. We will stay here if ever in the area again. less
