This hotel should not be considered a "Best Western Plus" hotel. It was filthy, poorly managed and in serious need of repair. Considering the concerns of cleanliness over COVID and the return to travel, I expected at least a clean room.
The room was filthy. The carpet looked like it had not been cleaned in years. It was disgusting. Stains in the tub and peeling paint in the bottom of the tub where they tried to paint over the stains. There was hair stuck to the walls, the sink, the tub and the phone.
The furniture in the room was worn around all of the edges, pieces were breaking off and the refrigerator cupboard had holes in it that had broken away from what looked like water damage.
When I asked to switch rooms, I was told there were no other rooms for the night. If I wanted a different room for the rest of my stay, I could move to a room with a broken bed. That did not work for my teenaged daughter and me.
The upside of all of this were the staff members I spoke with. Although they could not help or offer solutions, they were kind and understanding. less
