I went on my first business trip since February, holding off due to the pandemic. I still won't fly for now, but will travel when necessary by car. I come to Greenville on business a few times per year, and have stayed at this location. This time, at around 3 AM Friday the 10th I was responding to the call of nature and swung my legs down to get out of bed. One leg "found" a metal projection sticking out from the left side of the bed, and it cut my leg to where it bled. Turns out there are 3 such projections, not sure what they do, on that side of the bed. Anyway, I cleaned up my wound, pulled some clothes on and went down to the front desk to report it and get something to clean the wound. The front desk couldn't find the medicine supply cabinet. This during a pandemic. Did find two bandages to give me which I appreciated. I'm not a phobic person generally but I lay in bed afterward wondering when the last time that part of the bed was cleaned, and why were there metal projections on one side anyway? And the likelihood that coronavirus if was on the metal would have neutralized sitting in the open air for hours before I got there. And do I need a tetanus shot? And what happens to a guest with a more obviously dangerous condition and no medical supplies? Things like that. So in the morning I talked to Christy at the front desk, she was able to find the medicine supplies and gave me some ointment. She was affable enough, told me she would tell Corporate about this but I've not heard from Corporate yet. I mean, here we are in this pandemic thing, you don't serve coffee or breakfast to speak of but you don't know where your medicine cabinet is? less

We sincerely apologized for the accident that happened with your leg, as you and I spoke I explained that the pieces are to keep the mattress in place, as soon as you left for the day the issue was taken care of we're just sorry it even happened .
As it is posted not only at the entrance doors, front desk and in your room the rooms are disinfected everyday, there isn't anything in the room that doesn't get touched by the housekeepers or the electrostatic sprayer every day, as we want each and every guest to be safe as they are our top priority.
Coffee is not only available to you in your room but it's available in the breakfast area 24 hours everyday, also it's posted at front desk and in your room that due to covid-19 we are only able to serve grab and gos for breakfast, which I personally made for you and explained the reason we aren't serving our normal breakfast.
Again we sincerely apologize and we do hope to see you again.
