Water broke down all night. I called down to the front desk and said I wanted a refund for the night. The person who answered said they would be willing to work that out. Upon checkout, I was told that if I had come down that night they would have put me up in another hotel but at that point, they had no intentions of honoring what that person said. They wanted to offer points. I had to go to my mother's funeral so I couldn't stand there and argue. They have told my credit card company that I agreed with accepting points even though I never did. I signed my receipt, that's it. They were willing to provide other people the equivalent of a free night but because I put up with their crappy hotel, I got nothing. I'll never stay at a Best Western ever again, another reason why points is not acceptable anyway. This place really makes the whole chain look bad. less
