We were driving back from California after dropping trailer in Reno, NV. After 150 miles our truck broke down. We had our Dodge Ram 3500 towed to Winnemucca, NV. Never knew this town existed. We are Best Western members and we were very happy that there was a BW in town. The staff was VERY accommodating and friendly. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. We had to stay an extra day because the part for our truck was coming from Salt Lake City. We had a delicious breakfast located in a spacious sitting area along with the warmth of a fireplace. We needed this atmosphere because our trip was going to be extended and we knew the weather was changing along our path to Iowa. Yep! after Winnemucca we got stuck in Evanston, WY. I 80 was closed until the next day. Oh well, we finally made it back home after 5 days.
A BIG thank you to Lydia Locker and her staff. We had an enjoyable stay and we loved the complimentary cupcakes. Thank You, The Bastas. less
