I stayed at 5 hotels on my trip. This hotel was the most expensive at $114 for a king bed. The other hotels that I stayed at were Hampton Inns, which were much more upscale that this hotel, yet I paid less for their rooms. Also on the morning we left (and we left early), there were only 5 other cars in the parking lot. Since the hotel was not full they should have been offering better pricing.
It appeared that my room had not been sanitized for COVID-19. We found a dusty area behind the TV but easily accessible.
This is an older older so the furniture is not up to date. However the furnishing were adequate. Also the room size was adequate and there was adequate space for our belongings.
This hotel is in a bad area. There were homeless people a about 2 blocks from the hotel. We had picked out a place to eat that was nearby. When we got to the place, it had burglar bars on the door. The place was closed so we never got to see inside. We then drove in the other direction (still on the street that the hotel was located on). We drove several miles and couldn't find any restaurants. Our route took us into downtown and all we saw were boarded up buildings.
On a positive note, both the receptionists from when we checked in and from when we checked out were very nice & helpful.
Also the breakfast was nice. We had choices of muffins, sausage biscuits, & yogurt. less
