As soon as I walked in the room I could tell that it had been smoked in, you could smell it in the hall before I got to the room. The AC was blasting cold but as a non smoker I could still smell it. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and didn't smell of smoke. I did talk to the manager the next morning and she was very pleasant about it. I'm assuming it's an ongoing problem for them. The young receptionist the night before must have been new because she gave us a Rewards card rate and then I noticed on the paper before I initialed that she had put $134.00 instead of $120.60 a night. She corrected the mistake but any question I asked about using rewards points or the $10.00 card for the promotion that just started, she was pretty clueless. I felt she needed someone experienced to help her through the training process a little longer. I also wish that on the bill that you would show the customer the Best Western discount deducted from the room rate. We all like to feel that we aren't being taken advantage of because we are older. less

Thank you for your honest review. We're glad that you found the room comfortable and clean, and we do apologize that there were some issues during your stay. I can assure you that we have taken care of the smell issue in the room that you were in. We're also setting up training for our employees to be more knowledgeable in Best Western Rewards and the current promotions so that we can answer any questions you may have. We hope that you will give us another chance when you're in the area again.
