My husband and I checked in at this place on Christmas day. We were tired and couldn't wait to get into bed. As soon as we got into the room, I peeled the covers back on the king bed to reveal ugly yellow matter stuck to the sheets with what looked like fine pubic hairs. I complained to the front desk and they moved us to another room. I turned the covers back on the king in our new room and the sheets were even dirtier! I found a greasy, big handprint, mascara stains, AND more hair, ling and short. There was even a long strand of hair on one of the pillow cases. Yuck! I complained once again and the gal brought up a clean set of sheets for ME to put on the bed. They were TOO SMALL for the bed so I had to call her again. She finally brought up the right size sheets and I changed them and we finally got some rest. Then, the next morning, we went to the dining area to eat breakfast and found hardly any food. The selection was very skimpy. The display case that held the bagels was full of ants and the teenie tiny biscuits with sausage were hard like hockey pucks. The front desk clerk was doing double duty of tending the front desk AND monitoring the breakfast area. We heard her apologize to a guest about there not being enough of a selection of breakfast food to choose from. Her reason was that the new owners are changing things and saving money. I wouldn't advise that anyone stay at this place unless you bring your own clean sheets and pillowcases, a vacuum for the floor and on going out for breakfast to Sonic or someplace. It's obvious that management is not doing a good job of quality checks and the new owners are too cheap to offer guests what they pay for. Oh, I forgot to mention that two of the hotel workers were sitting right outside the he lobby doors in chairs smoking cigarettes as we arrived. Which is probably the reason the hotel wasn't cleaned appropriately. We had to pass through their smoke to get in the building. That was a red flag and we should have ran far away. less
