Had 2 rooms weekend of June 21. Everyone was friendly, the room was fine. 4 days after checkout had a 250 charge for Smoking in the room. NO ONE IN MY PARTY SMOKES! By third call was told "well it was not cigarette smoke it was marijuana". WHAT! No way. They don't know us, but I know us and this just doesn't happen. My entire family was just flabbergasted that the allegation. No call, no proof, just the charge. I don't know was is worse the 250 charge or the claim that someone was smoking weed in the room. Maybe an employee was in there taking a break, maybe it came thru vent from another room, I don't know. BUT I can guarantee you it was no one in my party. PLUS, refused to refund the charges and in a very condescending way assured me it was our room. This is the most alarming thing I have ever experienced at a hotel, will never, ever, ever stay at a Best Western again and will make sure I tell every one about this experience. Also, spoke with corporate who were all very nice, but said can not help. Lady at front desk that I made reservation with and spoke to at check in was also wonderful. But site manager sucks eggs! less
