Wish I'd stayed elsewhere

This hotel looks nice, but that really isn't the case. As soon as you got in the elevator it smelled like marijuana. The hallway carpet looked like something out of a bowling alley having a black light party in the 80's. The hallway also smelled of marijuana. The room was pretty small for a king suite. The couch was rock hard and no coffee table. Not that there was room for one. There was food that was over a week old left in the fridge, along with a cigarette pack. The toilet clogged for no reason and when the front desk was called about that and the old food, it took over 10 minutes for anyone to answer the phone. They did send someone to the room and the toilet was a simple fix and the food was removed. The woman seemed frustrated at first, but was nice in the end. The bed was decently comfortable and the AC was cold. The bathroom was very cramped! You had to turn sideways to open the door to get out without backing up into the toilet. Someone was having a party with fireworks in the parking lot the night I was there which was kind of frustrating since the 4th of July was weeks ago. Over all, this was not worth the price of the room. less

I sincerely apologize for the fact that your guest room was not properly cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival. Further, I'm sorry for the tense mood of the team member who responded to your complaint regarding the toilet being clogged. Finally, I offer my apologies for the discomforts that you encountered during your stay due to the behavior choices of other travelers staying at our hotel. I do hope that you rested well while you were here and I assure you that this is not the type of stay we would hope for any guest to have.
