It’s the little things that add up to a good stay.

I’m in Saskatoon overnight for business about once a week. I always stay here. The location is excellent for my purposes. Just off the Ringroad by 800m. Opposite a decent mall, gas station, Starbucks, the usual fast food. Down 8 St is a large variety of every store you’d need. Great.
The hotel is fairly new and in excellent condition. There’s a pool and hot tub although I’ve not used them recently. That seem nice though.
The room is typical BW+. Spacious, lots of plug ins, really nice bed. Quiet heating system. Good wifi. Keurig AND a kettle! With teabags😀I’m a happy guy ( Born in England)
So, all the basics are covered as far as I can tell. The story though, is the staff. Ajith is the front desk person I see the most. I met him early last year as he was trying to reunite a dropped cell phone with its owner as well as check me in. His caring and kindness were apparent as he tried to charge the phone despite it being in fairly poor shape. Last week I watched him negotiate multiple families all wanting scheduled pool time with a pleasant disposition and a decency all too rare. An excellent ambassador for BW.
When I check in he always makes sure I have a couple of extra teabags for the evening. So, I may be biased...
I’m impressed with the Covid precautions here, from one touch pens to taking rooms out of service for 24hrs after use. It feels safe. Safer.
I like coming here. I feel valued and welcomed. less
