Drove 2 hours to stay there for the jacuzzi style tub in the room. Front desk clerk (Connie I think her name was), she was extremely dry with horrible people skills( she did apologize which I appreciate but she shouldn't be at the front desk.). My boyfriend said “ hello” with a smile and her response was ”you checking in?” No personality, nothing. A few hours into our stay (8pm ish) My Boyfriend was running bathwater, the ENTIRE spout FLEW off and water sprayed everywhere. My boyfriend almost hit his head on the stairs leading up to the tub trying to turn it off. Water on everything. Thank God it was just water. We notified staff and asked to be moved to another suite. They said they did not have another like that, just a basic room. We decided to go home because the only reason we went was for the tub. If it doesn't work, what's the point. No manager could be accessed to assist us that night. The dry front girl said we could call the manager the following day which I did and was told she'd be in the afternoon. Afternoon came and when I called once I gave my name she wasn't available. I received an email from her simply saying" Please review the hotel documents" nothing introducing herself at all or apologizing for this mess. When I emailed back saying such, no response. I never received any acknowledgement from this lady, only their call center and the a bill for what appears to be $108 ( the manager messed up on that too).. for what??I bought something that they couldn't accommodate so I'm very confused why they're charging us and not trying to make this right. They said they saw evidence that we'd laid in bed.... Of course! We planned on staying and enjoying the $233 we spent for 1 night for a tub. They're treating us like we did something wrong. Worst experience I've ever had dealing with a hotel. less
