I like Best Western Plus and Premier hotels because they’ve been remodeled with lots of soundproofing between rooms. I never hear anything from the room next door. I was concerned because my room was right next to the ice and drinks machine, but visitors went to bed early and I was out cold, I never woke up to any noise overnight.
The bed was wonderfully cozy. It was very soft, not what I’d want for every night, but the sheets were super soft, I was exhausted, it was perfect.
There was no free breakfast, just a $5 voucher for the adjacent diner. I went there for dinner and it was good, but breakfasts were pricey, so I went to the Starbucks in the adjacent mini-mall, got more bang for my buck.
Paso Robles was a stopover, I wasn’t touring the town, so location wasn’t important. If I were touring the town, I’d try to find a hotel in the thick of things, but otherwise I’d stay there again, it was perfectly nice. less
