I don’t normally leave reviews but I had such an awful experience with BestWestern that I want to warn potential future customers of this hotel.
I am extremely disappointed in the customer service provided by this hotel! I had booked two rooms for my family and I, and gotten an adjoining room with two beds in each. After arriving at 1 am, we had called front desk to request towels (which came up after we called twice) and an extra comforter which was never sent up. As a result, we were left no choice but to move one of the comforters from one room into the other for extra comfort, and we’d forgotten to replace it back in the room we’d originally gotten it from before checking out. Despite both rooms being under my name, being beside one another (and connected through a door), and me calling MULTIPLE times to explain the situation, customer service was unwilling to listen and understand, and instead charged me $215, claiming the comforter had gone “missing”. By claiming housekeeping couldn’t find the comforter, they technically accused us of stealing which is not only disrespectful but also ridiculous because who steals a comforter??
Their records are clearly not being accounted for accurately if they only seem to keep records of “missing” comforters and not a third comforter found in the very next room. I find it difficult to believe that they were unable to find the comforter, but am even more so disappointed and appalled by how unwilling and unresponsive their staff was in providing satisfactory service to their customers. Additionally, the manner in which they responded to our situation was highly unprofessional. Expecting a hotel to keep and ensure accurate records of hotel items, and be willing to work with and understand the concerns of their customers is the bare minimum; it’s truly a shame that my experience with this hotel was so unsatisfactory and displeasing. Vacation should be a stress-free and pleasant experience, but it’s clear that BestWestern’s priority isn’t to provide that, but instead to find ways to scam money out of customers. I would not recommend this hotel. less
