We were staying overnight for a football game. Main issue we had was that room was not ready for check in until after 5pm (vs. their stated check in time of 2pm), which kind of screwed up our plans since we were heading to the game before then. It always bothers me when rooms aren't ready on time, because the hotel is essentially stealing money from you by not making the room available for the length of time that you purchased.
We were in a "business room" in the main building, and the room itself was nice enough, clean, and updated. had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. No problems there. The AC unit made noise which woke us up, but given that we didn't get to our room until after midnight, wasn't much we could do about it other than turn it off (fortunately it wasn't hot out).
The breakfast was not very impressive - not many choices with the only hot items being pre-made miniature omelets (which I wasn't going to roll the dice on) and reheated frozen sausage. A couple of muffins, cereal (which was stale), waffle machine, toast, that's about it. On the lower end of the "free breakfast" scale for sure. But better than nothing.
Convenient location just south of town. Service was friendly. Hotel was very clean. Overall, a decent no-frills hotel close to campus. less
