My husband and I are traveling from Tucson back to San Antonio, and decided to stop for the night at this Best Western; we usually stay at Best Westerns when we travel because we are Members. The room was ok except for the sheets 😬; thank goodness I always bring my own pillows and blanket. My big complaint is the price gouging at this particular location because, apparently, it’s an oil town - as told to me by Milan. When my husband checked us in, he said it was $104, which was more than we wanted to pay but we were exhausted, so we stayed. On our way out, we see we were charged $151; needless to say I was very upset, we NEVER would have paid that much for a few hours of sleep! When I called to find out why it was so much and why we didn’t get our receipt that was supposed to be put under our door, I spoke to a gentleman (I use that term loosely) named Milan; he argued about the cost, saying it was 139 +tax, and how we got a generous 10% 0ff. He was rude, argumentative, and clearly doesn’t care about customer service! I told him that this experience makes me not want to stay at Best Westerns in the future...he responded by saying he didn’t care if I ever stayed at Best Westerns again. So, if you’re traveling through Big Spring, Tx DO NOT stay at this hotel; unless, you have money to blow and don’t mind rudeness by Milan the mgr. who thinks it’s ok to gouge the oil workers and travelers 🙄😠. Rant over 👍 less
