I travel extensively and spend 50-100 nights a year in hotels. This BW was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had which surprised me because I've generally had great experiences with BW. Check-in and check-out were fine, and the front desk staff was congenial. The internet was ok, the TV worked, and the room was reasonably clean. I liked that there were soap dispensers in the shower and sink area - less wasteful than the typical little bottles that get partially used and then discarded. The problems were:
1. Our room smelled very heavily of cleaning fluids.
2. The mattresses on both beds were saggy and uncomfortable.
3. The cleaning staff only did part of the job of cleaning up our room. They made our beds after the first night, removed trash, and removed used towels, but that was it. They didn't give us replacement towels or replacement water cups -- I had to go to the front office to get them.
4. Breakfast had a wide assortment of items including eggs, meat, waffles, pancakes, cereals, baked goods, fruit, etc. However, the area was a mess. It was so crowded on Saturday that I went to the back conference room (which was open) to eat, but it was so dirty and smelly that I went back to the dining area and stood up to eat.
I even tried to find another hotel for my 2nd night stay, but every other hotel in the area was fully booked. less
