We got to this hotel at 9:45 pm on February 12 - the front desk clerk was not very friendly and hardly looked at us throughout the check-in process. He asked for my ID and Credit Card which was not unusual (I had already booked online through Hotels.com). Within 10 minutes of getting to our room, I received a text from Bank of America (my credit card company) asking if I had made certain charge to my card. They do really well at fraudulent activity. I said no - so they restricted my card and asked me to call which I didn't do until the next afternoon. By that time, I had several more pending PayPal charges. They then canceled my card altogether. THE ONLY PLACE I USED MY CREDIT CARD WAS AT THE BEST WESTERN HOTEL - how are we supposed to think anything other than the clerk saw the 3 digit code on the back of my card and used it?? Otherwise, the hotel was fine. They had a hot breakfast which was nice. less

Dear Mariannekraft, Thank you for your review. As i mentioned in our phone conversation we take matters of this nature very seriously and please be assured that our hotel has the latest security software to protect all our guests from credit card fraud. As we have already discussed the fraud on your credit card did not originate at our hotel and we have never experienced matters of this nature to date. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to see you again soon. Sincerely, Debra
