We needed a pet friendly room for one night traveling from WV back to FL. We were charged an additional $30 for our 3 cats, which is totally understandable. Unfortunately they are not using any of the extra pet fees to take of the rooms. The room had a very bad pet odor and had fleas, carpets were all torn up and just very nasty overall. I asked the person at the desk what they did about this and his reply was that if they hear about fleas they treat the room. They should be checking their rooms before any guest to be sure there are no fleas. And carpets in a pet friendly room, how gross!! They need to get with the program and have tile or laminate flooring that can be truly cleaned in between guests. Animals have accidents...they are not cleaning these rooms the way they need to. Horrible room, I would not recommend or ever stay again. This is not what a person should expect in a pet friendly hotel, I have stayed at many and never had this experience! less
