Wheelchair accessible (we didn't need this, but it was the only room left). Excellent parking lot with plenty of spaces for all the rooms. Room was ultra-clean, and everything worked well. That said, it was outdated as to decor and amenities, although there was a nice TV. NO electrical outlets at the desk; NO electrical outlet on one side of the bed (so could not recharge cell phone).
THE BAD STUFF:
IF you need an accessible room, this one is great space-wise, but inadequate as to electrical outlets. BEWARE if you need to plug anything in at the bed (like your ventilator) because there’s only one outlet on ONE side of the big king bed. Or bring extension cords so you can have service where you need it. Desk area did not even have an outlet.
Pool area is nice and set back away from the road (towels are out there so you don’t have to use your room towels by the pool - very thoughtful). Breakfast is included, but we slept too late to enjoy it.
THE BEST STUFF:
Housekeeping went out of their way to make our stay comfy. Ultra friendly, kind, thoughtful. Please remember to tip housekeeping when you leave. It’s very difficult to make a living on minimum wage, so please help your fellow human beings by being generous. Smile, say thank you. It makes a difference.
Hotel front desk staff was excellent - friendly, helpful, courteous.
AREA: a recreation paradise, with lakes, rivers, hiking, cycling, etc. A couple of great restaurants nearby, like Brewers Union (the absolute best). Ask front desk staff - they can direct you to lots of nearby spots.
