We stayed here recently while visiting family in the area, the hotel has changed hands recently and was vastly improved since our visit a couple of years ago.
Our room was in the annexe and wasn't huge, but we were only there to sleep so that was ok, bathroom a bit on the small side too, but ok for just one night.
We had dinner in the restaurant , a surprisingly good menu and a great fish selection, not many reataurant a in Grimsby can better this.
We were very well looked after however there was a slight problem with the main course I ordered, the cost of this was taken from the bill, and we enjoyed a bottle of wine on the house too !
Staff all very attentive and seem well trained and aware of guests' needs, and a super maitre d' who was very entertaining. less
