Decent Hotel, though proximity to M1 means it's noisy

One night stay in a generous room. Good ensuite shower. Sink in bedroom rather than bathroom, some people probably think this is a plus, others may not like it. Similarly bed was on the soft side for my taste, but that's a personal preference. Hotel very clean. Self service breakfast was definitely OK, reasonable choice and all the hot items regularly topped up. I didn't spot until I'd finished that I could have had a veggie sausage if I'd asked, will bear this in mind next time I'm in a Best Western. Receptionist friendly and helpful. The major drawback for us was that our room was very close to the nearby motorway, so naturally it was noisy all night. This might not bother everyone, but if it's important for you, it would be worth asking if there are quieter rooms. Overall, I reckon it was just about worth a rating of four. less

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback regarding your recent stay with us.
I am pleased to read that the hotel met all expectations in regards to service, cleanliness of the room and food. I will pass on your positive comments.
We do have rooms on the non motorway side which are quieter, however all rooms on the motorway side are triple glazed to prevent any noise. I apologise for any disturbances you encountered.
We hope you will be back to stay with us again in the future.
