More expensive than a premier Inn but not as good!

I booked a double room, got two single beds! Not used to a single, so fell out a couple of times! Room nicely decorated, but wasn't serviced, and came back after a day of visiting family to a plastic bag outside my room with fresh towels, tea and coffee! Nice! Ran.out.of toilet roll, as only small amount left on arrival!
No air conditioning, and very warm weather, but as hotel backs on to the M1, too noisy to have window open! Asked for a fan, but so noisy, couldn't sleep!!!
Noisy corridor, noisy room doors (slammed shut rather than closed quietly), and every time anyone came through the corridor fire doors, air rattled my door, all through the night!!! Inconsiderate guests, but that's not the hotels fault.
Not a restful stay BUT the most comfortable pillows I have ever had in a hotel!
More like a "motel" than a hotel.

In regards to your room I am sorry to read that you was not allocated the room type you had booked. I will look into this as this does not live up to our usual high standards. The reception team would have been more than happy to move you into a different room.
The rooms are serviced daily by the housekeeping team. If a do not disturb sign has been placed on the door by the guest then the housekeeping team would have left a bag of supplies outside the guests room in order to not disturb them. I apologise if this was not the case during your stay and I will address this with the head of housekeeping to ensure this does not happen again.
All bedrooms in the hotel do not come with air conditioning, therefore on warmer days we advise our housekeeping team to leave windows open before a guests arrival to keep the room cool and ensure there is a fan in each room for guests to use. I apologise for any inconvenience this caused.
We hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.
