We checked in to the hotel which was over run with noisy young boys who had also taken over the pool. The noise was at a level where I could not hear what the receptionist was saying to me at check in. The boys were running through all the corridors in the hotel and shouting at each other on the way. There were several adults in attendance who did not seem to see that their kids were a problem. We went out for dinner and on return nothing had changed. I called reception and was told that he had spoken to the adults which obviously had had no effect and he was clearly unwilling to take this further. I believe that this group should have been asked to leave the hotel. I have stayed in many Best Westerns and this was the worst experience ever. Sad that hotel staff could not resolve this situation for their guests. less

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and I truly am sorry that your stay was not a pleasant one due to the noisy sports team. The influx of more and more young sports teams to hotels is on the rise at hotels in our area due to a large sports complex built by Cedar Point and though we are happy to accommodate all guests it is a shame, as you noted, that the parents of these teams are often unwilling to control their team members causing other guests to be inconvenienced. The hotel staff does try very hard to keep people in check which is a frustrating situation as we truly care that each guest has as pleasant a stay as possible. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and we will be using that to work harder at making each guest stay a better one!
