When you travel and stop for the night and stay at a motel you want to sleep and shower. Pulled in after 10 hours on the road tired and road weary.
Turned on hot water and waited. And waited. And waited. 10 minutes, still cold.
Called front desk, young man had no idea, offered to move us. It is pouring rain, we had moved stuff in and gotten undressed to shower. Decided not to move. Just went to sleep. When I checked out I mentioned this to day clerk. I said, let the water run 10 minutes and no warm water. She said, hot water heater is on that end of building and you are on the other, you have to let it run "Way" longer than that.
So, if you know this is the case why put me in a room at the opposite end in a very empty motel?
And, in an area of the country that is drought stricken, why don't you buy another (or more efficient) hot water heater.
The room was clean but old/dated and loud.
Will not stay here again. Check out Fairfield or La Quinta instead. less
